Is there really any differance????

This is one question which really confuses me since the day I started making friends on orkut.Is there really any differance between virtual & real friends???For me the answer is a big NO.It dosent matter where or how I met my friend.All that matters is he/she is my friend & I care for him/her.I believe that if a person really thinks theres any differance between the two then..as you say in hindi...khot uski feelings mei hai.. lol.
I dont believe in the funda of net friends.Friends are just friends.You cant categorise them can you????I know...some people can...& honestly I just dont know how.I mean if one really is categorising between the two then he/she is really not a frend is he???Maybe I am wrong but thats what I believe in
As for the argument most people give "that you cant trust a virtual person...well I would say one cant trust every real person he meets right????Risk to get betrayed is in real life too.But if you can take chances in real life why not here???
Its been more than a year since I am on orkut & yes I have met many weirdos too.At times I have felt betrayed too.But if you can hang in there & move on in real life why not here too????You need to know people...you need to know who to trust & who not & thats something that can only come with experience.Just as in real life a small child trusts everyone blindly but an experienced adult dosent one need to apply same here too. & trust me after that...it can become a most beautiful place to get friends.I should know...I have got loads of them.People who are as important to me as any real person could be.
In the coming weeks I would write about all my friends( real & virtual included),selective people who mean a lot to me & who will be there forever in my heart.Lets see who all are in the elite group.Its really an honour to be there lolzzzzzzzzzzzz :p.From here onwards start a post "Gems in my life",taking one of my friends each day.
So keep a watch for your name here lol .
