Gems in my life-Vertika

I have known Vertika since last 5 years.She is one person on whose advice I can rely upon with blind eyes.She is like the most sensible gal you can find around(yeah more sensible than me lol).Can always look upon her to give me a sound advice...very honest...maybe you wont like what she tells you but its always gonna be the truth & in the long run right for you.Which is the reason I have started depending a lot on her.Kuch bhi ho the first thing I have to do is call her & tell her about it lol & that too when she no longer lives in Allahabad
I dunno but I miss her a lot:(.She has been one constant in my life for the past few years & now suddenly shes no longer there.I mean she is she still is but being in touch through phone & meeting her once a year....you cant compare that to the time we spent in school & after that right???We both were like inseperable in school...kahi mera naam aayega to wahaan vertika ka naam to aayega he aayega & vice versa lol.We both were like glued to eachother.Partner in crimes always.Be it in bunking classes (hey we dint bunk much...infact it happened only once & that too wasnt our fault...I was issuing a book in library period & the next period was physics...& by the time my number came in the long que the next period had already started...we both took refuge in the girls toilet lolzzzz!!!!),or getting bashed up in the class sab mei saath saath lol....& God the way we gossiped....we were a group of three friends me,Vertika & Yashika.Yashika is a bit more reserved types.Anyways so me & V ertika we both would just start & aage peeche ki koi sudh he nahi rehti thi .Hum dono ke chakkar mei bechari Yashika lapete meio aa jaati thi...hum dono to nikal lete the fansti thi wo lol.I have a passion for reading books & what more then telling someone its story!!!And completely opposite to me..Vertika just hates books.Fir bhi as soon as I finish a book I would make her sit & listen to the whole story & ladki kabhi ufff tak nahi karti thi lol.Zindagi mei shayad usne kabhi koi book nahi padhi hogi but dont kno why she has an eye for choosing the best book.She used to choose books for me in the library & sure shot they are gonna be l;ike too good.I still dont have any idea how did she do that lol.
All the teachers specially our physics sir & english mam just knew it..kuch bhi gadbad ho class mei me & Vertika are always gonna be in it lol.....sigh!!!what were those days
Generally it happens that after school if friends go for differant lines they eventually lose contact...but not with me & Vertika.We both saw the dream of becoming engineers together.But due to some personal reasons I couldnt go for it.I changed my line...went for commerce...Vertika went ahead & took admission in B.Tec.That was the most difficult & depressing period of my life.It was much more than a dream for me to become an engineer...it was my life but I couldnt & that was something I wasnt able to come to terms with.Vertika is one person who was with me throughout this period.Motivated me to dream again even if its for something else & till now she has never ever made me feel that "oh look I got what we wanted & you dint" & trust me thats a big thing because I have seen others,people who suddenly dont even remember me lol just because we changed lines & parted ways.
Thank you Vertika for everything.You are a part of me.I am not & never would be complete without you.
